And he played decently, as well. Very quick thinking when he scored, pouncing on a loose ball and slotting home with ease. He had to take a lot of the duels in the air today, won about half of them and didn't make any glaring mistakes with the ball at his feet.

Rumours here in Iceland that Everton have asked Lilleström permission for Björn to train with Everton for the WHOLE of december. Not official though.

I still cant understand why he is not the Iceland U19s who play later this week in group stages or the U-21s who play agants Northern Ireland and San Marino next week.

I sincerely hope he stays with Lillestrøm for a while. This kid seems to have a huge future in front of him, and I would hate for us to lose him before he really starts to shine in the yellow jersey!

He should most definitely stay. Not only for the club, but also for Bjørn himself. I don't think he is ready for a move to Everton at all (mentally and so on). He's better off staying at Åråsen for the time beeing.

He got a mild concussion against Lyn, but nonetheless put in his best performance for the first team. I'm hoping he starts the next match upfront alongside Arild Sundgot. Not at least I hope he gets a winter free from injuries. He's already started to shine in my opinion.

On the Everton issue, I really hope that doesn't happen. The kid's a future star. I've rarely if ever seen a more composed, calm striker his age.

Why didnt he played in yesterdays friendly? Dont tell me he is injured again, I hope he isnt another case of Andri Sigthorsson.

Hopefully he'll play alot of games this year and imo be the player to succeed Eidur Gudjohnsen in the national team. I think he is that good. (Unless he decides to apply for Norwegian citizenship because frankly Iceland is in a mess).

No injury, i think. The coaches aren't taking any risks with him. They have a individual plan for Björn to get him 100% after last years injuries.

Lillestrøm has a deal with Björn, and he should not play matches before La Manga cup in Spain so he don't get a new injury.
He are training 3days in the week with full power and rest alternative.

                    Sorry for my bad english.

I have had a chance to think about my oppinion of Bjørn for a while now, and I'd like to put in my 5 cents worth.

His technique is good, and I like the way he likes to "drop deep" instead of running down the channels after zonal passes.

At the moment I think he's a bit lightweight for the Norwegian league. Physically, you need to be strong to compete at this level and he's not quite there yet.

He looks to be an intelligent player and have a huge potential. How "dangerous" he is, is something which needs to be looked at in future months. What LSK need now, is someone who can put 15 goals in the net per season. We have a link player in Arild Sundgot (who thankfully can also double up as a target man).
