Time after time, again and again I saw players taking the easy way out. Making an easy sideways pass or playing it backwards instead of having the guts or bottle to take on an opposing player or attempting a "killer pass".
Lets not mix up other things into this thread: Its bollocks about not having any luck or the rub of the green. We had it all the way through the spring.
Lets not bring in the "players confidence is on rock bottom" arguement either. This is something that has been apparent under the Berg regime. It has nothing to do with possession play or "ballbeskytelse" either. Every player on the Barca team will take on a player one-on-one if given the opportunity.
I saw two players "go on the outside" of their opposing players. Eddie, who was hit and miss and Bukken Jr. Otherwise, it was embarrassing.
Forget that bollocks about "If Ujah had have put his header a metre to the other side, we'd have gotten a well deserved point". Because it wouldnt have been deserved and lets not forget Stabæk were robbed of an acceptable and perfectly onside goal, and they hit the post.
Its apparent that Henning has his favourite players who are getting a game week-in, week-out regardless of form. Can anyone really tell me that we are a better team with Karim Essidiri and Erling Knudson on our right flank instead of LKE and Tokstad\Bukken?
I can take getting beaten by a better team. I can take getting beaten by a better drilled\trained team. I can take awful refereeing which takes points from us. I'll even accept dropping points to the filth from the east side. But that was stomach turning tonight and its got to end.
